I’ve had this cat tower for nearly three months now and deliberately waited before writing a review because I’ve written reviews on products like this in the past not long after receiving them, only to have them fall apart shortly thereafter. This cat tree is sturdy, well-made, easily put together, and the cats love it. They’ve almost (almost but not quite) given up scratching furniture and the trim around the patio door in exchange for scratching at the numerous posts on the tree. They love the platforms, and one cat in particular has taken up residence in the little house. The hanging toys fell apart rather quickly, but I pretty much expected that and those are easily and inexpensively replaced. Compared to other products of this kind this is remarkably low-priced, but more to the point…it is solid, doesn’t shift under the weight of the cats, and shows no signs of falling apart like so many of them do.

I searched here on amazon to find the perfect tree and believe me i looked hard. i did order it directly from armarkat because it was slightly cheaper than online b/c of the no shipping/tax. the pieces were labeled well and if you just organize the pieces before putting together you should have no problem. I am a bit of a perfectionist and i was alone so it took me a little longer than it should have since i was making sure everything was screwed on tight enough. the box in the middle is large enough that my medium size cat and kitten could fit in there together and they both love it. they also love to sleep on the platforms above, i just wish they would like the hammock but i guess it’s not their preference. The little fuzzy balls unfortunately have almost met their end…they shredded them pretty well, but once they’re gone i will just tie another toy to it. ***i did find that during assembly the little ropey polls that support the thing are a little splintery so i used my husbands work gloves to save my hands while i tightened them. that was probably the worst part, i’m just glad that my cats have a great place to sleep now:)

I ordered this from the manufacturer, and my reason for the purchase was to try and save my furniture from being the perpetual scratching post. It arrived promptly and was easy for me to assemble in about 30 minutes with the included tools. It is a high-quality product consisting of wood (not pressboard), soft faux fur, and sisal rope poles. It is very sturdy, though it wobbles a bit if two cats are actively jumping on it at the same time. Still, I feel confident that it would not topple over and that’s pretty good considering that one of my cats might be mistaken for a beached manatee. The cats love to scratch the sisal posts and have fun jumping from level to level, or just perching and watching what’s going on below. The yarn balls are always a hit but they haven’t really figured out what the hammock is all about. I put my small dog in it and he liked it though! The cat tree is quite large. Once I got it put together it was larger than I expected. All in all, my expectations were exceeded with this purchase.

Item arrived quickly. The box was quite heavy so I was worried about putting it together. Even more so when I opened it. However, it was very easy to assemble. I am a woman in her 50′s and my two little darling kitties started rubbing up against the parts before I ever had them put together. It went up quickly, there were GREAT instructions on how to assemble, mostly using pictures which works for me. As soon as it went up, my cats jumped up and started staking out their spots. They both like the little cubbiehole thing. I had initially bought it because one of my cats liked to lay upside down and I thought the hammock would be a treat for him. But, he hasn’t quite figured it out yet. Overall, we are very happy with the item. They got a great Christmas present!

Glad we took the time to wait and search for the perfect tree for our active cat. The base supports the weight of our 12lb cat and the tree is pretty sturdy too (cat jumps from one platform to another). The materials (although in the box it said it’s made in China) is impressive and quality looks good (without the strong odor of the carpet/faux fur from the other cat trees we bought). It was easy to assemble and cat loves it! We decided on the 72″ since our Siamese loves height. She warmed up to her new furniture right away.
