This is a spec spot I produced for a pet supply company in 2010. I wrote the narration as well as produced the video. I did it at no charge to be considered as one of their official videomakers but they found my fee of $100 (because I’m a big animal lover) too high so I didn’t get the job even though they insisted on higher quality than the home videos they have been making. If you’re watching this because you’re interested in producing an ad for your company, my rate starts at $200 for :60. Very reasonable considering the 24/7 internet exposure on your website and that a tv commercial is typically $500 for :30 with a limited audience and runtime. By the way, as a commentary since I used my cat in the spot, she didn’t like that litter and won’t use the box with it in there. It has an off-odor and turns to oatmeal when wet.
