In February 2008, the Columbus module was launched on the Space Shuttle Atlantis, creating space history when it was attached to the International Space Station as the first European laboratory dedicated to long-term research in microgravity.

Lol..
May i watch in High Definition?
I just (2 hours ago) came back from the ESA space museum in Norewijk, NL. There they have a full-scale Columbus and Zwezda module mated together that you can go into and have a look. Even has the Cupola. It’s dead cool to go inside and get an idea of the dimensions and a first-hand look. Recommended.
I was fortunate enough to see Columbus at the Kennedy Space Center prior to it’s launch. The ESA should feel very proud.
Oh well, with the things they’ve done recently and the plans they have for the future, Europe is begining to get somewhere, slowly but surely in space!
yeah.. Comhgháirdeachas ESA.
that was absolutely beautiful
Congratulation ESA!
