GE Lighting 74201 20-Watt Energy Smart CFL Light Bulb, 75-Watt Output, 2 Pack

I ordered these bulbs direct from Amazon, not another seller. The packaging is all cardboard – no plastic, which is nice. However, one bulb is broken near the base. The large cardboard box it shipped in looked fine, as did the packaging for bulb. It looks like the break occurred before it went into the package at the factory. I also just read on our local recyclers web site that the low mercury bulbs would be better because fluorescent bulbs are considered toxic waste. They suggest General Electric “Ecolux,”Phillips “Alto” and Sylvania “Ecologic.” It’s all a learning experience. Next time I’ll buy different bulbs.
