Excellent! that is so helpful. Man I like to get good tips like this. I am doing a lot of re-model right now and have wrestled with this type of measurements. I normally cut a bit longer and then cut again because I doubt the measurements. This will get me to one cut again.

Or you can use a piece of 2×4 to w/e measurement you want for a longer corner.
