First i have to get married before i ever get divorced… and, i’m NOT planning to ever get married… but if me & my MR RIGHT ever do get divorced, i hope he’s “just like Stan Zbornak. Someone who will love me til the day he die’s!

@LCE23 Well I think you’re right. Here they’re younger than they were in GG but I think this differnce is also caused from the technical equipment….I’m not sure about that of course I’m just assuming that it might be a reason

Herb’s voice sounds slightly different here than on the ‘Golden Girls’… I guess voices change as we age…I always thought Bea sounded slightly different on ‘Maude’ than on ‘Golden Girls.’

What I hate is such women seem to pick the WORST qualities they perceive in men to copy. Of course, being women they make themselves twice as obnoxious.

Honestly, I don’t understand it either, I don’t think there is anything wrong with being feminine. But I do think you missed the point being that she wasn’t treated as as if she were male boss,who would probably not recieved a bouquet on the first day. Also,this was in the 70′s and it just wasn’t the norm for a woman to be in charge of an office of men.
One thing I will never understand, is why feminists think that they have to act like men, react like men, prefer men’s things, have men’s interests, in order to be ‘equal.’ It means that being male is the standard for humanity, how everyone should be, so women have to be like men to be ‘equal.’ Anything feminine is bad. Why can’t she just enjoy flowers if she likes flowers? Why say she would prefer cigars like a man would, as though whatever men like is the standard for all human beings?
