This item is advertised as fitting all Whirlpool side by side refrigerators manufactured after 1997. The statement isn’t true – it does not fit counter-depth side by side refrigerators because the return air covering on the counter-depth refrigerators are completely different in shape and size from the standard depth refrigerators. So if yours is a counter depth unit don’t buy this.
